G-Plan Brasilia Teak Dining table with 6 matching chairs | Mid-Century Modern | 1960's
This superb Dining set of G-Plan Brasilia extending dining table and chairs by E-Gomme Ltd were designed and constructed during the 1960's and are a great example of G-Plan's Danish designs and influences. E-Gomme Ltd was established in 1898 in High Wycombe, UK and thanks to the launch of the G-Plan brand in 1954 it went on to become one of the UK's largest and most popular furniture manufacturers. The Brasilia range is heavily influenced by Danish and Scandinavian design.
This particular set of Brasilia 'wing-back' dining chairs are generally in great condition with a lovely vintage patina. The chairs have been reupholstered in a sympathetic black Vinyl and are extremely comfortable
The extending dining table has been restored to its former glory with beautiful teak graining. This is a large table that sits 6 people comfortably , with a butterfly leaf mechanism , beautiful teak tapered legs this is a great MCM style icon
